Francesco Lietti was born in Lecco, Italy.

and the école des beaux arts paris la seine.
and photography at the clerkenwell college of printing.
After spending seven years in london, lietti has been based in hong kong since 2006.
His work features in private collections worldwide.
His recent work celebrates the beauty and the dynamism of Hong Kong and the south east asia.
The subjects are drawn from a combination of memory and fantasy, as He try to recreate the key elements that render this city and these landscapes unique.
The paintings are divided into two contrasting categories:
THE CITY, with its cluster of tall, slim buildings reflected in the sea water, against a backdrop of green, rolling hills;
THE COUNTRYSIDE characterized by lush forests, little huts and fishing boats, nestled under deeply colored skies.
